365:282 Diabetes Recycled Contraptions

Addison has his very own recycle bin in the craft area of our home. Whenever I am about to throw something into the recycling I ask myself Would this be good to make something out of? and if the YES lightbulb flashes before my eyes I toss it in Addison's basket. There is never a shortage of Diabetes recycling around here and it always turns into something interesting. The other day Addison made this contraption complete with hose connected to the glucose tab bottle. I loved how the legos and the recycling were used together...Awesome.

I'm in love! That Addison is brilliant! Nice job, mama. And I don't know how you take pictures like that. How did you photoshop nostalgia in there? You know?

wow! You sure are "green"!

Love this idea!! Kinda hard in your 20's to come up with cool stuff like this!

So creative, Addison! Nice work!

I keep stuff, too. Drives Gregg a little batty at times. I hear, "Why can't we throw this out?" But I love it when we can reuse and repurpose something.

Great idea - my kids love making junk from junk. The only problem... what to do with all the junk they create?!

Like the photo - is that an app?

Theresa and Amy- I took that photo with my phone. I have a couple of apps I like to use. This was a photo taken with the hipstamatic app and then edited a bit with another one called phototoaster. I love my iphone!
